What We Do

Club activities, social events and volunteer projects offer networking opportunities that build personal and professional connections. And Rotarians can extend those networks by visiting other clubs around the globe. Rotary is 1.2 million passionate individuals in 35,000+ clubs worldwide. We are both an international organization and a local community leader. Together we lead change in our own backyards and across the world

Projects

We take action locally and globally. Every day, our members pour their passion, integrity, and experience into identifying, planning, and completing projects that have a lasting impact. We remain committed to the project till real, long-term solutions are delivered. For more than 110 years, we have been guided by principles that reinforce our values of service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership.

People of Action

Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

7 Areas of Focus

Disease Prevention and Treatment

We educate and equip communities to stop the spread of life-threatening diseases. Rotary members have hundreds of health projects underway around the world at any given time.

Peace and Conflict Resolution

By carrying out service projects and supporting peace fellowships and scholarships, our members take action to address the underlying causes of conflict, including poverty, discrimination, ethnic tension, lack of access to education, and unequal distribution of resources.

Clean Water and Sanitation

When people have access to clean water and sanitation, waterborne diseases decrease, children stay healthier and attend school more regularly, and mothers can spend less time carrying water and more time helping their families.

Maternal and Child Health

Rotary makes high-quality health care available to vulnerable mothers and children so they can live longer and grow stronger.

Basic Education and Literacy

Our goal is to strengthen the capacity of communities to support basic education and literacy, reduce gender disparity in education, and increase adult literacy. We support education for all children and literacy for children and adults.

Economic and Community Development

We create opportunities to help individuals and communities thrive financially and socially.

Supporting the Environment

We are committed to supporting activities that strengthen the conservation and protection of natural resources, advance ecological sustainability, and foster harmony between communities and the environment.
