
Project 777 - Projects in Rotary's 7 Focus Areas in one day
Community Service Development
Project 777 was led by Community Service Development Avenue in collaboration with Community Services Health and Youth Services. The objective of the Project was to meet the needs of the Community in KK Pudur, Irusamanur, a remote locality in Chengelpet District, located around 80 kms from Chennai. The project touched 700+ beneficiaries in one go. The uniqueness of this project is that the model is replicable in needy communities. The Project was executed in partnership with GEO India Foundation, a NGO. who extensively works in this Community and several other remote communities.

Focus Areas & Contribution
✅ Environment - Planted 77 trees in St. Joseph School in the Community.
✅ Community Economic Development - Opened a Community Computer Skills Centre & did Annadhanam - provided lunch for the community people. We provided 15 student chairs for the computer centre.
✅ Basic Education & Literacy - Provided notebook and stationery to School children.
✅ Maternal & Child Health - Distributed nutrition supplement food to the women and children.
✅ Water, Sanitation & Hygiene - Distributed hand wash liquid, powder, soaps and Sanitary pads to community people.
✅ Disease Prevention & Treatment - Conducted health check up for the community people and School Children with the help of Doctors & medical Staff from Karpaga Vinayagar Medical Sciences Institute, Chengalpattu Dist. Distributed free medicines.
✅ Peace Building & Conflict Resolution - Delivered POSH, Anti-bullying, Drug awareness talk to the School children.
