✨ Celebrating Excellence: RCG at the 2025 Prego Awards ✨
The Prego Awards, an institutional honour established by P G Equipments—one of India’s leading manufacturers and importers of premium kitchen equipment—recognise outstanding achievers who have made meaningful contributions to society. The 2025 edition of the awards was held on 20 November at the Prego Knowledge Center, Chennai, celebrating excellence across Healthcare, International Trade Relations, Hospitality & Dining, Culinary Expertise, and Food Safety & Quality.
P G Equipments is led by Chairman Mr. S. M. Shankar and Managing Director Rtn. S. M. Balaji, a Past President and long-standing pillar of the Rotary Club of Guindy (RCG). Responding to Rtn. Balaji’s invitation, RCG members proudly participated in the ceremony, marking a significant moment of fellowship and recognition.
A highlight of the evening for RCG was the honour bestowed upon Ann Dr. Geetha Iyer, Medical Director of CODE Eye Care, Chennai, and a leading Ophthalmologist renowned for her pioneering work in corneal surgery and vision restoration. Her achievement brought immense pride to the club and its members.
RCG was further privileged when President Radha Krish was invited to present an award to Dr. Sanu Jacob, a distinguished expert in Food Safety and Testing, underscoring the club’s strong presence at this prestigious event.
A memorable evening where excellence was celebrated, partnerships strengthened, and the spirit of Rotary shone bright.
