About RCC (Rotary Community Corps)

RCC is a community based club sponsored by a Rotary club to meet that community needs based on the guidelines of Rotary. The services can be many. Few examples are as follows.

1. Conducting health camp
2. Supporting for local library
3. Construction of Toilet block
4. Other awareness camp
5. Water and sanitation requirements etc

Similar to any other club structure RCC will have a President, Secretary and Treasurer and other members

RCC Adhirai Installation was successfully done on 27th July 2025 at Valluvar Nagar, Adyar. This locality falls under Zone 13 (South Region) and Ward 173 of the Greater Chennai Corporation.

Thanks to Rtn. Sridhar T for initiating the project and establishing a good connection with the community residents.

This community has a working class population and is looking forward to help in literacy, healthcare and sanitation needs. They currently get healthcare support in the form of visiting Doctors and medical check-up done through nearby hospitals. However, they are in need of improvements.

The community women have voluntarily come forward to take up positions in RCC. Our President Rtn. Radha Krish installed  Mrs. Kala as President and Mrs. Sindhu as Secretary and Mrs. Gayathri as Treasurer. They are enthusiastic about working with us to improve their community standards.

Following yesterday's formality, they are keen to meet us with some plans drawn and launch some initiatives in the near future.
