As Chennai basked in one of its most beautiful days, the city seemed to bless an equally beautiful sight; the timeless art of Silambam unfolding in all its grandeur._
The Senthamizh Silambam Competition, celebrating our Stateβs ancient martial art, saw a thunderous participation of 1,500 students, boys and girls, from 5 years to adolescence. The enthusiasm, discipline and skill, especially from the youngest participants, was truly inspiring.
π The organisers set a gold standard by encouraging every child with a certificate and trophy.
π Rotary Club of Guindy was proud to support the event by sponsoring lunch for all participants.
