As Chennai basked in one of its most beautiful days, the city seemed to bless an equally beautiful sight; the timeless art of Silambam unfolding in all its grandeur._

The Senthamizh Silambam Competition, celebrating our State’s ancient martial art, saw a thunderous participation of 1,500 students, boys and girls, from 5 years to adolescence. The enthusiasm, discipline and skill, especially from the youngest participants, was truly inspiring.

πŸ‘ The organisers set a gold standard by encouraging every child with a certificate and trophy.

πŸ’› Rotary Club of Guindy was proud to support the event by sponsoring lunch for all participants.

πŸ™ Grateful for the benevolent contribution of RCGians: Rtn. Radhakrishnan M, Balaji S M, Raja Viswanathan, Sampath, Radha Krish and Selvakumar V K.

🌟 Heartfelt thanks to DG Rtn. D. Devendran, our Chief Guest, for motivating the young warriors.

🀝 Gratitude to RCGians Radha, Balaji, Sathish, Venkatesh, Uvais, Selvakumar, Viswanathan, Karthik V, Muthu Kannan and Saravanan for representing RCG with pride at this large public event.
